I worked as a freelance designer in a short collaboration with furniture maker Bim Burton. We spent several weeks designing a range of CNC fabricated, hand finished musical instrument stands. As a keen musician and furniture designer, I gained a lot of enjoyment from this project. We focused on a cello stand and worked through a series of prototypes to refine the product before it was fabricated and sold to a client in 2011.
