… to feed your eyes whilst I figure out how to make the next part… These sketches document the evolution of the curvy waffle. In these models a series of folded, hard reflective panels and resonating chamber create a small part of the larger building proposal. The panels move to create a range of surface geometries ranging to allow the structure to act as a sound mirror or intimate listening space. Tomorrow I’m testing this new iteration in a number of ways to compare its success in creating an adaptable acoustic space against the waffle.
