This amazing recording by BILL FONTANA ’listens’ to the Millennium bridge in London. Quite eerie and irritating at times, but interesting to think that it’s possible to amplify and ‘listen’ to minute movements in large urban structures. I reached this video via. a fantastic article recently published HERE about audio navigation and the changing urban soundscape… I’m particularly intrigued by this comment:
“Our cities are rapidly growing and with it so does the production of noise pollution. Experts are greatly concerned about the possibility of universal deafness as the ultimate consequence as our cities produce untethered sound.”
