At the moment I am interested in ‘wrapping’ – and I especially like the ‘bulging’ aesthetic of this installation by the iceberg project. I recently wrote an article which starts to analyse issues of wrapping, dressing and identity in an urban context, using the wrapped works of C+JC as a case study. The article speculates on political, cultural and phenomenological issues surrounding the act of wrapping as an agent for dressing, art-form, animation, concealment + re-birth… Exciting stuff!
